    Maine Corporate & LLC Kits

Does Maine require a corporate seal?

No. Maine law lets a corporation adopt a seal but does not require one (13-C M.R.S. § 302). Many banks, title companies and attorneys still ask for an embossed seal on resolutions, stock certificates and closing documents, so most owners keep one in the company kit.
